There are lots of things that you can do to keep yourself active in retirement. Studies have shown that the occurrence of a health issue can increase the first year of retirement as your body starts to adjust to a life of leisure. The best thing to do is look at taking a good few walks in. Joining a rambing society is a good idea.

One of the best ways to keep fit and not stress out the muscles is to have a nice swim. There is great news here as you generally find that the pool has specific times for pensioners so that they won’t be put off by all those noisy families jumping in the pool.
